Making learning accessible to all is one of Wiley’s biggest priorities, both as a company and as people who are passionate about education. Achieving our mission requires making Wiley’s Knewton Alta online courseware accessible to all learners.

What Makes Knewton Alta Accessible?

Wiley measures accessibility according to the standards set by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA and Section 508. We follow the born-accessible principle for all new feature/functionality releases and include accessibility requirements in all development efforts including those for content, product functionality, UX and training. Wiley has partnered with TetraLogical, a leader in accessibility consultancy, to evaluate and regularly audit our product’s accessibility. A summary of our product’s overall level of compliance is detailed below. For more information, visit our Alta Accessibility FAQs.
